THE NORTH CANTON PLAYHOUSE
And ALMOST NEW YORK STUDIO

IS OFFERING A FALL ACTING WORKSHOP 2008 FOR AGES 7-13

"ALIAS SMEDLEY PEWTREE"

One of the most fun styles of theatre to perform, this Melodrama of the old West is full of slapstick antics and a corny plot! We have our villain, heroine, hero and silly townfolk characters who come together to present a one-act full of laughs! The audience joins in, of course, to boo and hiss the evil villain! Put in a few catchy tunes, and the students get to act, sing and lightly dance their way through a good time. These workshops are great for beginning or experienced students! Boys especially will enjoy the cowboy themed characters! Class size is limited to 24 students and registrations are accepted on a first-received basis.
