North Canton Playhouse routinely seeks auditions for its main stage, youth theatre and studio productions.

Below are the open auditions currently available. Please check back often for new Playhouse audition opportunities, or join the Theatre Society to receive updates on auditions and other news.

All auditions are held on our main stage, unless otherwise indicated. Our stage is located at 525 7th Street NE, North Canton, Ohio. Please contact us if you have any questions about our current auditions.

A Fashionable Murder

Murder Mystery

Audition date – Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the McManaway Studio at Main Stage.

AVAILABLE ROLES: 10 actors (6 females and 4 males, ages 18+)

Audition will consist of cold readings from the script.

SHOW DATES: December 2 – 3, 2011 at the Fairways in North Canton as a dinner theatre presentation.

Drama

Audition date – Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the McManaway Studio at Main Stage.

AVAILABLE ROLES: 7 females, 5 males, and an approximately 14 year old girl

Audition will consist of cold readings from the script.

SHOW DATES: February 17  – March 4, 2012.
