Synopsis: There was, in Paradise, a most unruly, small girl who sings off-key and had a tarnished halo. She just couldn’t seem to stay out of trouble in the Celestial City! She had come to be known throughout Heaven as the Littlest Angel.
One day the Littlest Angel meets the Understanding Angel, and tells him how hard it is for a small girl to suddenly find himself transformed into an angel. The Littlest Angel says that she’s unhappy in Heaven because she longs for a box of toys that she left under her bed on Earth.
A heavenly messenger brings the box of toys back to Heaven and the Littlest Angel is overjoyed. But hers isn’t the only joy in Heaven, for Jesus is to be born! The Littlest Angel has only one thing to give to baby Jesus, and when she places her gift among the other splendid presents, it shines out from the heavens. The Littlest Angel gives to Jesus what men will forever call the Shining Star of Bethlehem.
Through the hilarious trials and tribulations, the mischievous “Littlest Angel” learns the timeless lesson of giving, a lesson that has long endured as the true spirit of Christmas. See this powerful holiday performance with your family this December on the North Canton Playhouse stage!
