WHEN: Sunday, May 17 & Monday, May 18, 2026
TIME: Hourly slots available (sign up via the link below)
WHERE: North Canton Playhouse Mainstage (Inside Hoover High School)

Preparation
Prepare up to 1 minute (approx. 32 bars) of a song in the style of the show or from Newsies.
Bring your own non-vocal track (no a cappella). Speakers will be available for connection.
Be ready for cold readings from the script.
A mandatory dance call will take place during auditions—wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
Important Notes
Ensure you have no conflicts with the performance schedule (see below) before auditioning.
You’ll be able to list any rehearsal conflicts on your audition form.
If cast, you will be responsible for purchasing some costume items.

Production Schedule
Show Dates: July 31; August 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9
Fridays & Saturdays: 7:30 PM
Sundays: 2:30 PM
Rehearsals Begin: Sunday, May 31
Regular rehearsals will be Sunday–Wednesday
Sundays: Afternoon/Evening
Weekdays: Evening
There will be a few Thursday rehearsals in order to have holiday weekends off.
